INERATEC and Ferrostaal Receive Co-Funding Through H2Uppp for e-SAF Project

INERATEC and Ferrostaal have been given joint funding for an e-SAF project in Fortaleza, Brazil. The funding comes from H2Uppp, a project implemented by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy’s International Hydrogen Ramp-Up Programme.

The joint project will focus on advancing a Fischer-Tropsch-based power-to-liquid pathway which uses biogenic CO2 and green hydrogen to create electro-sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF).

In a press release, INERATEC said: “We look forward to taking the next steps together with Ferrostaal and our partners to further develop Brazil’s e-fuels and sustainable aviation fuel ecosystem.”
