MB Energy and Metafuels will collaborate on bringing certified electro-sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) from production to the wing. The agreement was signed at the opening of Metafuels’ demonstration plant in Switzerland.
The collaboration will span market access, blending, infrastructure and logistics, which will also include certification and information flow. Both companies are also considering a methanol agreement, where MB Energy would be a potential supplier of methanol feedstock.

Reducing the carbon intensity of aviation fuels will require strong partnerships that connect innovative technologies, renewable molecules, reliable infrastructure and customer access.
