P2X Solutions and avanca Energy – including its subsidiaries avanca Renewables and Alternoil – have agreed on a long-term partnership for the supply of synthetic methane, also known as e-methane.
From October 2026, P2X will deliver e-methane to avanca/Alternoil from its production facility in Harjavalta, Finland, where it will be offered to heavy-duty truck operators via the REFUEL network. Operationally, avanca sources bio-LNG and e-methane and coordinates upstream production partnerships in Europe; Alternoil operates Germany’s largest renewable LNG distribution network.
