Kanadevia Inova has awarded AFRY with an engineering assignment relating to Encyclis’ UK carbon capture (CC) facility. As engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the plant, Kanadevia’s move positions AFRY as the deliverer of steel structures and piping system services for the integration of the CC plant with existing infrastructure.
The CC facility, which aims to decarbonise energy-from-waste operations, will be part of the HyNet North West decarbonisation cluster; a collaboration for CC, hydrogen and reduced industrial emissions in north-west England.
