H4 Marseille Fos, a joint venture between H2V and Hy2gen, is partnering with Dépôt Pétrolier de Fos (DPF) for the receiving, storing, processing and distributing of electro-sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) created at its site at Fos-Lavera petrochemical hub, France.
The partnership will include dedicated storing and blending in Fos; access to pipelines including SPMR (South-East, Switzerland) and NATO network (Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands); and access to rail and road infrastructure at Marseille Provence airport and maritime infrastructure at Le Havre, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
For Cyril Dufau-Sansot, Co-Founder and CEO of Hy2gen, said: “This step marks a new step in the realisation of our project and adds an essential brick to the e-SAF ecosystem that we are building in the territory and beyond.”
For Alexis Martinez, CEO of H2V, commented: “We are now securing the last link in the value chain in a sector that is still emerging, where many models remain to be built.”
