ETFuels has selected the Port of Immingham, Greater Lincolnshire, UK, for its Project Kings Road Humber site – an advanced fuels refinery focusing on methanol-to-jet production.
Project Kings Road Humber, which will create up to 1,000 construction jobs and 400 permanent skilled engineering, operations and manufacturing roles, will convert e-methanol into electro-sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) for UK supply and export. The site will have access to ETFuels’ Texas production platform and the Humber’s industrial, logistics and fuel handling infrastructure.
