Rivan Industries has announced a new 50,000sqft (4,645 m2) base in south London, UK, for the company's synthetic fuel production. Production Base 1 will support production of up to 50MWs per year of Rivan's synthetic fuel systems, enabling the company to immediately start domestic production of synthetic fuel in the UK.
The facility has undergone an entire refurbishment from its prior use, with first move-in date planned as early June. Being able to design Production Base 1 from the ground up with custom power, layouts, machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, testing facilities and storage has enabled Rivan to remove many of the bottlenecks it's been experiencing with its current, smaller facility. While the base will only support a fraction of the synthetic fuel demand, it lays the foundation for future manufacturing facilities.
Rivan has kept production in London to enable speedy decisions across all departments, with engineering and manufacturing under one roof. To support greater engineering and manufacturing speed, Rivan is also hiring for 35 new roles across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and Permitting.
