Stargate Hydrogen, a European innovator in green hydrogen technologies, has launched two new products to accelerate industrial decarbonisation: the 5 MW Starbase electrolyser stack and the 10 MW Aurora system module. Both are designed to enable on-site green hydrogen production for refineries, chemical plants, and steel manufacturers.
The Aurora 10 MW electrolyser module is outdoor-ready and highly space-efficient, occupying just 14.4 m² per MW, making it the most compact alkaline electrolyser of its kind. It combines two Starbase 5 MW stacks, achieving a stack consumption of less than 49 kWh/kg, reducing the cost of green hydrogen for industrial customers. Together, Starbase and Aurora offer scalable, high-performance solutions for large-scale hydrogen production.
The launch addresses two key barriers to industrial hydrogen adoption: cost and space constraints. Several commercial negotiations are already underway for initial deliveries, highlighting strong market interest. More details on the products will be shared at the World Hydrogen TECH Expo in Hamburg, 20–22 October.
