In a post on Linkedin, Nel Hydrogen have announced: 'We are truly excited to announce an agreement with HYDS - Hydrogen Solutions (HYDS) worth above $50 million (€43.4 million) for two 20 MW projects in Norway.'

The agreement includes a total of 40 MW of PEM electrolysers for HYDS’ HyFuel AS in Florø, and Kaupanes Hydrogen AS in Eigersund, both supported by Enova and developed in collaboration with local energy partners. This represents Nel’s largest ever PEM order and the second largest contract in the company’s history.

The projects are expected to have a positive impact on Nel’s financial performance, product cost and increase the scale of Nel’s service and aftermarket operations in Europe.
