Luxaviation Group has signed a strategic MoU with Icelandic e-fuel producer IdunnH2 to secure up to 10,000 tonnes of RFNBO-compliant synthetic sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) annually from 2029. The 15-year agreement marks a major step in Luxaviation’s decarbonisation roadmap and supports the growth of Europe’s synthetic fuel infrastructure.
The eSAF will be produced at IdunnH2’s Helguvík facility near Keflavík Airport using renewable electricity and captured CO₂. Certified under RED II and ReFuelEU rules, the fuel will be distributed via book-and-claim across the EEA.
As a launch customer, Luxaviation is helping to de-risk early investment while reinforcing its sustainability leadership in business aviation.
