Honeywell Energy and Sustainability Solutions has successfully completed the engineering package for Power2X’s e-fuels Rotterdam project – a landmark development that will deliver more than 250,000 tonnes of e-SAF per year in the Netherlands.

The facility will use Honeywell’s proven UOP e-Fining (methanol-to-jet) technology to convert renewable methanol into sustainable aviation fuel, producing ultra-low carbon jet fuel at scale and supporting the aviation industry’s transition towards net zero.

This milestone reflects the strong collaboration between Power2X and Honeywell teams across the United States, India and the United Kingdom, whose combined expertise has helped shape one of Europe’s most advanced e-fuel projects.

With the engineering package complete, Power2X is now progressing into the next stage of development.
