HIF Global, a leading e-Fuels company, has received ISCC EU RFNBO (Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin) certification for its Haru Oni e-Fuels facility in Chile’s Magallanes region for the 2025/26 fiscal year.

The certification, issued by Germany-based ISCC and validated by the European Commission, covers the facility’s full supply chain from CO₂ capture to the production of hydrogen, e-Methanol, e-Gasoline, and e-LG. It confirms compliance with RFNBO standards, which require hydrogen produced from 100% renewable energy and at least a 70% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

HIF Global has also renewed its ISCC PLUS certification, maintained since 2023. These certifications support the company’s expansion plans and the development of a global portfolio of commercial e-Fuels facilities modelled on Haru Oni, with production of RFNBO fuels expected by 2026.
