German e-fuels developer Greenlyte Carbon Technologies has signed a strategic agreement with MB Energy (formerly Mabanaft) for the offtake of e-methanol from Greenlyte’s LiquidSolar facility in Marl, Germany.
The seven-figure deal also includes advanced offtake intentions for future projects, strengthening the partnership between the two companies. The collaboration will focus on deploying Greenlyte’s fully electric LiquidSolar technology at industrial and mobility hubs across Europe and beyond. The system produces feedstocks for e-methanol, e-diesel and sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF).
The agreement supports MB Energy’s strategy to increase the availability and affordability of e-fuels, offering lower-emission fuel solutions and advancing its commitment to the energy transition. MB Energy rebranded in 2025 to reflect its ambition to combine its Hanseatic heritage with pioneering technologies for a secure and sustainable energy supply.
