In a post on LinkedIn, Gen-hy have announced outstanding results achieved in China with our rare-material-free AEM electrolyzer technology.

Tests conducted on our innovative Gen-AEM membrane have demonstrated record-breaking performance, confirming our technological leadership and paving the way for strategic opportunities in the Asian market—particularly in China, the world’s largest electrolyzer market.

Key Test Highlights:

Efficiency of 93.7% at 0.3 A/cm² and 1.58 V
Efficiency of 83.6% at 0.7 A/cm² and 1.77 V
Efficiency of 78.3% at 1 A/cm² and 1.89 V

Lowest hydrogen crossover ever recorded, ensuring optimal safety. As the development of our Allenjoie (Doubs) plant continues, the company plans to look forward to commercialising its technology in Asia starting in Q1 2026. Produce ultra-pure, low-cost green hydrogen through patented technology—free of rare materials—with ambitious efficiency targets.
