Future Energy Global (FEG), the Dublin-based SAF market platform, has signed a memorandum of understanding with US-based Sora Fuel Corporation to negotiate an offtake agreement for up to 10 million gallons of future e-SAF production.
The deal will enable FEG to reserve the environmental attributes of the e-SAF under a book-and-claim system, helping airlines and corporates offset emissions from Scope 1 and 3 categories despite limited physical supply. An option to increase offtake volumes is also included.
Sora Fuel is developing synthetic fuels made entirely from air, water and electricity. Its process captures CO₂ from the atmosphere at under $50 per tonne, converting it directly into syngas and ultimately into certified aviation fuels.
The announcement follows FEG’s recent transaction on IATA’s new SAF registry, delivering Scope 3 certificates to Microsoft as part of the tech giant’s 2030 net-zero commitment.
