Singapore’s Aster has signed an MoU with Aether Fuels, a Singapore- and US-based startup backed by Xora, to develop and scale breakthrough technology for cost-competitive sustainable liquid fuels. The partnership marks the first investment under Aster Ventures, the company’s new investment arm for energy, chemicals and infrastructure innovation in Southeast Asia.
Aether’s Aurora™ technology converts waste carbon feedstock into liquid fuels. Aster plans to integrate this capability into its Bukom and Jurong operations to reduce carbon intensity. The collaboration will also leverage Aster’s regional infrastructure to accelerate Aether’s market rollout.
Leaders from Aster, Aether and Xora hailed the deal as a step toward decarbonising Singapore’s industrial base and advancing global clean fuel solutions.
