Arcadia eFuels has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ATOBA Energy for the long-term supply of neat synthetic sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF). Under the agreement, ATOBA will procure up to 150,000 tonnes of e-SAF from each Arcadia eFuels project over a ten-year period.

Produced from renewable electricity, water and captured CO₂, e-SAF offers more than a 90% reduction in lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions compared with conventional jet fuel. The agreed volumes are expected to eliminate at least 400,000 tonnes of CO₂ per project site.

The collaboration combines Arcadia’s advanced e-fuel project development with ATOBA’s role as a market aggregator and enabler for airlines seeking long-term, competitively priced sustainable fuel. The partnership strengthens both companies’ efforts to scale up reliable e-SAF production and accelerate the aviation industry’s transition towards net-zero emissions.
